6 months Major Projects:

Projects on Phospholipid Fatty Acid Analysis


Mini Projects:

  • Qualitative determination of DNA by Spectrophotometer.
  • Isolation of Plasmid DNA from Serratia.
  • Isolation of RNA by Acid Phenol Guanidium Thiophynate Chloroform Method.
  • Isolation of DNA from Plants using CTAB method.
  • Isolation of DNA from E.coli.
  • Isolation and Amplification of DNA from Tomato.
  • Isolation and Purification of chromosomal DNA from Cauliflower.


2-3 Months Projects:
  • DNA isolation and PCR analysis of medicinal plant extracts
  • Analysis of bacterial isolates from environmental samples using PCR technique
  • DNA isolation and PCR analysis of microorganisms from different water samples.
  • Analysis of genomic DNA from fungi using PCR technique.
  • Separation of Carbohydrates / Amino acids using Thin Layer Chromatography.
  • Extraction and Quantification of Plasmid DNA from Goat liver / Animal Tissue. 
  • Study of antimicrobial activity of clove against microbes.
  • Purification, Separation and Identification of Proteins using Southern Blotting and its applications.
  • Comparison of FAME GC method against conventional PCR analysis in detection of microbes.


6 Months Major Projects:

  • Tracking, isolation of DNA and PCR analysis of microorganisms from various milk samples.
  • DNA extraction of various clinically significant microorganisms and their PCR analysis.
  • Extraction of DNA from microbes involved in degradation of pesticides and their PCR analysis.
  • Production, Qualitative and Quantitative analysis of Citric acid from Aspergillus niger.
  • Isolation, Identification and Characterization of fermentative bacteria from fermented food.
